I had to develop a plan for my tanning salon accessories. I was going to get some shelving built from some wood from Home Depot where the lotions and products would be displayed. A credit card processing system along with computer software to turn on the timers and turn them off automatically is almost a must for any tanning salon. I also planned on maintaining a significant inventory of bulbs for proper operation of the equipment.

Other than that, my tanning salon accessories included some fancy couches that I already possessed. Hence the costs of the accessories were quite minimal. I had planned on adding some additional air conditioning capacity a little later on in the game once I started getting some customers. This is important because if the customers start feeling too hot and uncomfortable they will quit patronizing the business.

I planned on getting a small amount of money invested in a good quality music system for that adds to the ambiance of the facility. The biggest expense as far as tanning salon accessories was going to be the computer software that does the automatic switching, scheduling and service bill processing.

Compared to the costs of accessories in other businesses, I felt this was quite reasonable and I should be able to stomach it no problems.
